The new dBTechnologies H-Series subwoofers have excellent specifications and are user-friendly. Unlike conventional horn systems, the 18H subwoofers guarantee excellent performance even at close range, making them suitable even for small venues. The subwoofer has stereo inputs with switchable (cascade/crossover) outputs, a switchable 90/120 Hz crossover point, phase switching and a built-in delay of up to 4.5 ms (in 0.5 ms steps). The delay helps to achieve correct synchronization with the entire dB Technologies full-range system line, as well as to make complex configurations (Cardioid, End-Fire, Straight Line) without the use of external processing. In fact, the built-in functions - crossover point switching, phase and delay - ensure that the new H-Series subwoofers are compatible with any system from our other series. The subwoofers have a mini USB Type-B port for system firmware updates. The latest generation Digipro G3 digital amplifier guarantees excellent performance and low power consumption thanks to its highly efficient and low-criticality circuit. The digital power supply with auto-selective voltage can operate from both 110V~ and 220V~. The new 28/56-bit DSP with 24-bit/48kHz ADC/DAC provides sound performance beyond all expectations and excellent system control even in the most extreme operating conditions, thanks to its limiter functions. The PVC-coated birch plywood cabinet has increased durability, also thanks to polypropylene edges that protect it from impacts and scratches during transportation. This unique Hybrid Enclosure technology provides outstanding strength and durability, while aluminum reinforced handles ensure easy transportation. An M20 threaded socket on the top cover of the enclosure allows for mounting any full-range system using a standard M20 stand. The DS2-S mini stand is also available as an option, for mounting any dB Technologies system on the 18H subwoofer.
